Aus eigener Erfahrung: Die Stämme in Jordanien haben den größten Einfluss auf den König. Das Parlament und auch der Senat sind dementsprechend besetzt. Eine demographische Größe wie die Palästinenser würde das Gefüge komplett durcheinanderwirbeln. Das werden die Jordanier nie zulassen solange die Monarchie Bestand hat.

Es gibt in der Region für jedwede Situation Gründe, Oberhand haben die realpolitischen Gründe (ich nenne sie mal so) und nicht ideelle oder moralische.

Habe mir letzte Woche den Baader Meinhof Komplex angesehen.
Hier ist dargestellt, warum die deutsche Linke pro Palästina und gegen Israel ist, obwohl kulturell und gesellschaftspolitisch die beiden Verbündeten überhaupt nicht zusammenpassen.
Das ist glaub ich sogar im linken und linksextremen Spektrum eine Gretchenfrage.
Historisch gesehen sind hier ja einige Meinungen sehr zwiegespalten.
Ich kenn eine (Ex?-)Abgeordnete der Linken und die ist sehr pro Israel.
Ist immer extrem angeeckt damit.
Und das Morden geht weiter, und nichts passiert…

Genozid mit langer Ansage
Es ist mach wie absolut nachvollziehbar - so ein heißes Eisen sollte man nie anfassen - dass keinerlei nennenswerter politischer Druck auf Hamas ausgeübt wird (Geiseln freilassen) oder Ägypten (Grenze aufmachen).
Das wäre ja unmenschlich.
Auch nur schwer zu ertragen.
